CAINTA GREENLAND EXECUTIVE VILLAGE has one of the most if not the most beautiful parish churches in Rizal Province. Located in Gladiola Street right at the heart of the subdivision, the ultra-modern architecture of the ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER PARISH (SJWP) stands proud and surely cannot be missed by a discriminating eye. Literally and figuratively speaking, our church is truly a balm for a tired spirit!

Built on March 14, 2016, the church was completed through the collective efforts of the community with the initiative and leadership of our parish priest Fr. Rock Berdos. Like every church project, resources in the completion of the structure did not come easy. Every available means was initiated. However, after 2 years and 3 months since its completion, the church has yet to fully settle its financial obligations that as of last accounting amounts to an estimated P6.8M.

It is in this light that we, the GREENLAND SPORTS ASSO., INC. (GSAI) in alliance with our mother Subdivision Organization, CAINTA GREENLAND COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION, INC. (CAGRECA), and in cooperation with the Finance Committee and the PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL (PPC) of SJWP committed to spearheading a fund-raising program that will culminate in no better time than to coincide with the subdivision fiesta on May 1, 2021. To generate needed funds of SJWP and help settle its financial obligations, GSAI, CAGRECA and SJWP-PPC shall hold a raffle contest of which the major prizes shall be two (2) branded bicycles, 1 x P10,000 Cash and 2 x P5,000.00 Cash. In addition, GSAI being an advocate of “uniting the community thru sports development”, focused its sight on cycling this time, with the theme “Family Bike Fun Ride”.

Hence, bringing all bicycle enthusiasts in an exciting 10 km ride showing all the beautifully built Clubhouses, covered basketball courts, tennis courts, several swimming pools, jogging, and cycling areas, inside Greenland’s sprawling 90-hectare subdivision.

The success of this undertaking, even in these trying times, will depend on the cooperation of the community members and the much-needed support of other people, organizations, and companies who believe in the pure and good intention of this planned activity.
